Simple Life Missions is hosting a Day-Long solitude retreat on Sunday Dec 14th at McKinney Roughs Nature Park just outside of Bastrop, TX. The retreat will be a guided time into silence and solitude in a beautiful natural area. While silence and solitude for an entire day may seem intimidating we will provide guided instruction, and tools to help you get the most out of the time.

Details:

The retreat will begin at 7:00a and end at 4:30p. We will begin with a time of guided instruction, teaching, and prayer, and then participants will be given most of the time to rest, be still, journal, pray, worship, or hike with the Lord. There are many places both outside, under covered porches, or inside for you to spread out and find a quiet place.

The cost of the retreat is $50 and includes the day fee for use of the Nature Park., as well as a journal for the time. Payment can be made online Here or a check can be given at the time of the retreat.

McKinney Roughs Natural Area is located about 45 minutes Southeast of Austin near Bastrop, TX.
